People on 35

So I don't know who in their right mind decided to have both sides of 35 at the 675 interchange go down to one lane simultaneously. I would assume they weren't in their right mind when they made that decision. That by itself doesn't annoy me though. What annoys me are the idiots who decide to drive up on the other lane all the way until they get to the end of the lane to merge over. There are signs posted warning of the lane closure way before (at least a mile before). Not only that but the reason why traffic is slowed down is to let these goofballs in. If that weren't bad enough, then you get people like the woman behind me the other day who honked every time I let someone in (including those merging from the on-ramp). Then of course you have the people who start merging and then people behind them who can't wait two second and try to go around them, or the people who leave the lane to get in the on-ramp lane so they can make it look like they are trying to get on the highway so people won't get mad.

UGH.

Staff Writers at DDN Will Kill Me

I am so sick of the writers for DDN (specifically online). Take a look at this:

What Gives them the right...

Warren County cops are able to club a bird to death rather than shoot it if it's injured. Apparently this is their proper protocol.

A woman in Hawaii clubbed a peacock to death (because it was sqawking) and she is in court for second degree animal cruelty.

In South Africa there were dozens of beached whales and they weren't able to get back into water and they were suffering so they were shot (in the head).

Ian Klopper of the National Sea Rescue Institute:

"The most humane way to perform euthanasia on whales is to shoot them through the brain and this was successfully performed on those whales suffering on the beach. We wish to stress emphatically that the most humane effort was employed to prevent further suffering of these animals," he said.

I fail to see how clubbing a bird could be the most humane way to kill it.

Kids on the road

So lately I've been getting passed on the highway (they have to be going at least 20 mph over). When I get to a stop I look in the car. They are all either teens or college kids just jamming. It annoys me! Then you've got the people on their cell phones too. These kids need to be re-evaluated on driving proficiency at an ultra secret level.
