Sleazy Ads

Ugh...seriously. GoDaddy needs to go in another direction. The ads are sleazy and it's stupid marketing to be sexist and only target one gender. Women find it inappropriate and demeaning and men are probably trying to shield their children from their television.

The latest ones in Superbowl 43 are the top 2/4 worst ads! Most people don't even understand what the company is trying to sell.

GET SMART GoDaddy! Let us not think that your company is run by slimy and sleazy old men.

How could someone do this?

This guy who produces The Kingery in Pendant (audio group I voice for)...anyway he died and many people donated money to the Iowa Food Relief Fund in his honor and made sympathy comments in a special episode of "this week in Pendant" (TWIP).

Anyway....

He faked his death! Apparently he was depressed and was at a very low point and didn't think anyone would care if he died...so he wrote a letter to Pendant (probably in someone else's words) that he died.

Now, almost 6 months later, he's saying he's sorry. He's got a girlfriend now and his life is back together. I'm sorry but if my "boyfriend" lied to hundreds of people and made them all think he was dead, I wouldn't ever be able to support him doing that or ever trust him.

Yes I forgive you. No I do not and will not ever condone what you did.

Flow, my tears, fall from your springs!
Exiled for ever, let me mourn;
Where night's black bird her sad infamy sings,
There let me live forlorn.

Down vain lights, shine you no more!
No nights are dark enough for those
That in despair their lost fortunes deplore.
Light doth but shame disclose.

Never may my woes be relieved,
Since pity is fled;
And tears and sighs and groans my weary days
Of all joys have deprived.

From the highest spire of contentment
My fortune is thrown;
And fear and grief and pain for my deserts
Are my hopes, since hope is gone.

Hark! you shadows that in darkness dwell,
Learn to contemn light
Happy, happy they that in hell
Feel not the world's despite.

People who complain about guns

Would you rather be subject A or subject B homeowner

Subject A:

Subject B:

Proving my point

Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Ted Berry gave 41-year-old Norman Holmes a 90-day jail sentence and a lecture Monday after Holmes' 109th misdemeanor conviction.

Holmes pleaded guilty to a theft charge but had no answer when the judge asked why he didn't become productive instead of stealing.

He doesn't care about becoming productive...that's why.

Bring it back to the basics.

When I was in Williamsburg we went to the capitol building. We learned that in colonial times, when someone was guilty of a crime they had punishment and were let loose. If they performed another crime they were executed. That's the way it should be! People aren't learning their lesson. There was a shooting in a Wal-Mart parking lot last week. A woman was shot because she didn't want to give a criminal her purse.

Look at the perps rap sheet:

Elijah was first imprisoned in 1984 following a conviction on charges of escape and petty theft. Paroled late in 1984, he committed burglary the following year and was sentenced in 1986 to five to 15 years.

"He was in and out on that case about 10 times" due to parole violations, Carson said. "He violated about every six months. It was in and out, in and out, in and out. Everything seems to be centered around drugs."

Elijah's 1986 sentence finally expired in 2006, but he was back that October through April 2007 on a drug possession conviction. He was readmitted to prison June 18, 2008, on charges of drug possession and breaking and entering, and was released last Thursday, Carson said.

He obviously doesn't care and is just going to do it again. STOP the stupidity in the courts! There should be a limit on how many times you go to jail before they kill you.
